Nanex ~ 14-Nov-2012 ~ FT's Flash Crash

On November 14, 2012 at 15:30:48, the stock of Franklin Universal Trust (symbol FT) dropped 31% in just over 1/2 second on 293 individual trade executions. It then halted. After market close, during after hours trading, it did it again (though with fewer trades).

Note that there are many trades executing at what appears to be the best ask price - indicating active buying during this drop!
