Nanex ~ 16-Sep-2013 ~ Total Option Outage

On September 16 at 13:30:39.549 option trades and quotes ceased across the board. Quotes came back briefly for a few minutes at the CBOE and C2, then went silent.

1. OPRA - each of the 48 multicast lines that carry option quotes and trades.
Trades appear almost 2 seconds after quotes, and after trades from other exchanges. Something got stuck.

2. OPRA - 1 second quote rate from each exchange. Zooming in to start of outage.
Two exchanges, CBOE and C2, make a brief comeback before going dark with the rest of the exchanges.

3. OPRA - 1 second quote rate from each exchange. Zooming in to end of outage.

4. Showing quotes from all opra exchanges, followed by quotes from each individual exchange.
MIAX - chart 12, was the first exchange to go offline.
